When is the Lights On Festival?
The Lights On Festival is Saturday, September 6th, 2014.
Registration/Check-in Open – 5:30pm
Lights On Festival Light Show Finale! - 7:50pm
Event Concludes- 8:30pm

Where is the Lights On Festival?
The Lights On Festival will take place in front of UCSF Medical Center at Mission Bay. Registration/Check-in will be on the corner of 4th & 16th Streets beginning at 5:30pm.

Is my donation tax deductible?
Yes, all donations are tax deductible.

How can I attend the Lights On Festival?
Entrance to the Lights On Festival requires a minimum fundraising goal of $100. Children 12 and under are complimentary. Or if through team donations, your team raises the total amount to cover the festival entry per person, that number of team members may attend the festival at the discretion of your team captain.

When can I begin fundraising?
You can begin fundraising as soon as you register online.

How do I raise funds?

Can I register the day of the Lights On Festival?

Yes, please go to the 'festival information' tent to register on the day of the event.
 
Is the Lights On Festival for all ages?
Yes, the Lights On Festival  is for all ages.

Is the Lights On Festival site ADA compliant?
Yes, the Lights On Festival is ADA compliant.


Do I need a ticket to enter the Lights On Festival?
Yes. Upon check in, your fundraising total will be verified. If you raised $100 or more you will be given your credentials to enter the festival.

How do I get to the UCSF Medical Center at Mission Bay?

Who is allowed to attend the Lights On Festival?
Anyone that has raised or donated $100 or more for the Hard Hat Walk and Lights On Festival.

Can I bring my pet?
No. Due to local and state Health Department regulations, pets are not permitted within the event space. Service/working animals are not considered pets and are exempt from this policy.

How can I volunteer for the Lights On Festival?

Will the Lights On Festival be cancelled if it rains?
The event will occur rain or shine. We do reserve the right to cancel the event in extreme circumstances.

Can I attend the Lights On Festival without participating in the Hard Hat Walk?
Yes, you may attend the festival as long as the minimum fundraising or donation goal of $100 is met.

Will food and beverages be available?
Complimentary food and beverages will be available from a variety of local restaurants.

Will alcohol be available?
Alcohol will not be available to general guests.

Who will be performing at the Lights On Festival?
The Lights On Festival will feature a number of special guest performers!

What should I bring to the Lights On Festival?
You will need to bring a photo ID for check-in. We would also recommend comfortable shoes and a sweater in case of cold weather, with minimal personal belongings. There is no coat check, so please only bring what you are willing to carry. You may bring personal bags and purses, however all belongings are subject to search upon entry. The following are NOT permitted:-Weapons-Illegal substances-Oversized backpacks/bags-Coolers-Spiked jewelry-Alcohol-Food or beverages-Pets-Fireworks/Explosives

Is smoking allowed?
Smoking is not permitted within the event space. UCSF is a smoke-free campus.
All smoking tobacco products (including e-cigarettes) are not permitted anywhere on UCSF property.

If I cannot attend the walk or festival, will I receive a refund?
Due to the large number of registrants and the fundraising nature of the event, we are not able to issue refunds if you are unable to attend. We greatly appreciate your donation to UCSF Medical Center at Mission Bay and thank you for your contribution!
